2006 Austal Fishing Competition

Another year, another successful Austal Fishing Competition. The day was a tremendous success with 20 boats and 60 keen fishermen involved.
The weather was perfect with a light easterly blowing and a sea breeze by midday.
Departing the Austal jetty at 6am, the group were on a tight schedule having to sign-in back at the jetty by 2pm.
Steve Edwardes from Electrical Design ended up with the catch of the day - A 12kg Whiskery Shark.
There was a good selection of prizes kindly donated by our suppliers and everyone enjoyed a BBQ at the weigh-in.
Huge thanks to everyone involved. Looking forward to next year’s competition.
