2011 Fishing Competition

16 Boats and over 40 keen fishermen were in the competition and some great prizes were taken home on the day which included Golf Sets, In car GPS, Boat GPS and plenty of BCF Vouchers plus heaps of other prizes.
Notable catches were
Catch of the Day: Neil McCarthy – 15.4kg Wobbegong Shark
Steve Edwardes – 10.2kg Dhufish
Carl Roach – 2.5kg Pink Snapper
Russell Lockett – 970g King George Whiting
Jayden Spencer – Biggest Tailor and Herring
Brad Foster – Biggest Squid
Brad Foster – 6kg Samson Fish
Everyone had a cold beer and BBQ at 3pm for the weigh in. An enjoyable day was had by all and we hope next year we get a few more entries and a day as good as this one was.
