Austal Staff Celebrate Movember

Austal staff recently participated in Movember 2010 to raise money and awareness for Men’s Health.
Although this year’s charity event was started late into the month, that was no deterrent for those unwavering Mo-Bro’s to showcase and exploit their evolving facial features in the name of charity. Thank you to the supportive Mo-Sisters who got behind the Men of Movember and ultimately accepted and put up with the aesthetic and additional side effects of having moustached colleagues and partners.
Through the generosity and kindness of staff members who came along and showed their support for their colleagues or simply got behind a worthy cause Austal employees collectively raised $501. Austal management generously matched this contribution, bringing the grand total raised to $1002.
This incredible figure will be included with the individual donations already raised for Austal and donated to Movember Australia, Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australian and Beyond Blue.
