Austal USA Celebrates 1,000 Employee Goal

On July 3, 2007 Austal USA celebrated the breaking of the 1,000 employee mark with an onsite cookout for all of its employees.
The one thousandth employee was hired on Monday, June 25, and Austal’s US facility can now boast 1,014 employees, up from 841 in the beginning of the year. Austal’s recruiting staff have been challenged with hiring 15 to 20 qualified applicants a week.
Celebrating the cookout in style was Austal USA’s Chief Operating Officer, Dan Spiegel (Seen below on the BBQ).
