Austal's Interior Design Team and Fitout Department are capable of designing and producing a wide range of fully customised vessel outfits to meet operational requirements - be that a simple standard suited to the demands of short commuter journeys, or sophisticated, comprehensive and luxurious outfits required for cruise operations or international journeys.

Austal's interior design team will liase closely with the client or the client's own interior designers to create the desired atmosphere onboard the vessel and deliver passenger comfort and convenience.

All vessels constructed by Austal are completed to the highest standard by Austal's team of skilled craftspeople dedicated to the production of very high quality interiors, Austal's Fitout Department consider the customised nature of the business as a challenge. From the design stage to installation, consideration is always given to the dynamics of space and weight.

Every visible element of the interior outfit can be manufactured and/or fitted in-house from the bulkheads, ceiling panels, carpet and flooring, bulkheads, cabinetry work and seating.

Superb craftsmanship, combined with state-of the art facilities, caters for the production and finishes of custom designed furniture tailored to the requirements of the operator/owner.
