How We Collect Personal Information
We collect personal information in a number of ways. Usually it is directly from you when you complete your mailing list details so we can provide you with information about Austal. We also sometimes collect from publicly available sources of information.

Mailing Lists
In our web site, we may ask you to provide your mailing information, or to participate in surveys.
If you complete an online mailing list subscription form, we only collect the information contained in that application form if you submit the form to us. If you log out of the web site or cancel the application prior to submitting the form, the information is automatically deleted. We collect information about your location, your company name, and a subscription group for demographic purposes. We also record your e-mail address. When you subscribe, we’ll immediately send you an email to confirm the validity of your email address. You won’t receive any email from Austal until you validate your subscription via the instructions in that email.
This information is analysed on a bulk basis for broad demographic content. Individual use is not analysed. We may use your e-mail to provide you with information about Austal. If you do not wish to record this information you can "opt out" of the mailing list.

Austal uses "cookies" to deliver content specific to your interests so users do not have to register each time they use the web site.
