Production facility, shipyard and service centre

Our purpose-built shipyard, head office and operations are situated in the Australian Marine Complex on the Cockburn Sound waterfront at Henderson, approximately 8 km south of the port city of Fremantle, Western Australia.

For decades our Henderson facilities have provided vessel design and development, shipbuilding and ship support services including servicing and sustainment, refit, repairs and parts distribution. Today, the shipyard has evolved alongside the company and deploys a module manufacturing approach that has resulted in our Henderson shipyard becoming the lead facility for Australian defence vessel production, alongside our Hope Valley Road facility, with commercial vessels being manufactured in our shipyards in Vietnam and the Philippines.
